Dan Reed's direction can't match Gillian Anderson and Danny Dyer's sincerity. Both seem to think they're in a much better movie, crying and wailing like there are awards at stake. It's a rather unambitious rape and revenge, but there are some intriguingly sordid details like Dyer's PTSD-related impotency being cured after their plot to murder their attackers is underway. That gives this some distinctness.
