119. (23 May) Krakatoa: Volcano of Destruction (2006, Sam Miller) 65
It might be setting the bar too low by saying this TV drama about the final days before Krakatoa's eruption is more exciting than either Volcano or Dante's Peak. Beyond that, it's also more technically proficient and coherent. Despite a large cast from all walks of life, acting out real-life accounts from surviving witnesses, this never feels overwrought or overextended.
