The aerial photography here can be rather staggering. Lamorisse finds patterns and rhythms in the Iranian landscape that make this mesmerizing. It's a stunning view of the country from above. Unfortunately, he makes the odd choice to have the film narrated by the wind and I don't mean that figuratively. Someone literally speaks as the voice of the wind, explaining what the wind thinks of the scenery. Huh.
