The ultimate cautionary tale against séances, this movie of the week is tight, menacing and often outrageous fun. Barbara Stanwyck is a delight, playing up some lesbian subtext and looking way better than any 63-year-old should. But this is actually worthwhile just for Michael Anderson Jr. and his mustache.
