An entertaining enough summation of Judy Garland's life, Life with Judy Garland still feels far from definitive. Judy Davis tackles the role with some competence, but her mimicking "The Man That Got Away" is almost embarrassing. She lacks confidence in musical numbers that's sorely needed. She ends up upstaged by a surprising Victor Garber and scene-stealing youngster Tammy Blanchard.
