A number of twists and turns make Panic Button well worthwhile. Serving as a cautionary tale against sharing too much on social networking, its confined setting and cynical revenge plot make it more than scary enough. Unnerving though this may be, the film ultimately comes to a dark, somber conclusion for the characters. Rather than ending at that low point, it has an outright stupid ending that takes the film two steps back.
