I have no right to complain. This is exactly what I expected from the first trailer of Shark Night 3D. Trashy and stupid though it may be, there are enough solid jump scares, bizarre plot twists, and unnecessarily sincere character development to keep this engaging. The twist that the lake is full of a variety of sharks rather than just one is particularly inspired. It's only slightly less entertaining than last year's similar Piranha 3D. The use of 3D is some of the best I've seen since the fad took off; the underwater scenes really pop.
