In fact, if I had a little bit more motivation, maybe a great idea that I believed in, and most important of all funding, I probably might be making a movie right now. But I have neither of the above, so that dream remains just that... a dream.
But, wait a minute! This is the movies we are talking about. It is here that dreams do come true. Okay it might not be mine in this case, but someone else's dream is at the brink of turning into a real adventure.
So, getting to the point, finally... i'm here to support a little project by one of my twitter followers Daniel Bergamini (@dberga). He has a dream, similar to mine, and is doing something about it. He's making a short film and you, YES YOU!, can help out.
There are two main reasons that I am promoting this complete stranger (well besides the occasional twitter messages). Firstly, my love for independent cinema is massive and this is my little try at helping out. Secondly, and most importantly, if you read through the link below and read the synopsis of the story, you will realize that he has something truly fascinating. As Daniel describes it, "it is a coming-of-age genre film". I for one am super excited to see how this short film pans out.
So, head over to http://bit.ly/fQQEum and read about a dream being turned into reality.
HELP!.
Help in any way possible. Give a donation towards the funding, blog about it, talk about it, tweet about it, Facebook about it... Just do something about it.
Who knows, come next year you will be telling your friends as you watch an Oscar ceremony, "Dude I totally supported this movie, and look where it is now."
I did tell you I am a dreamer... and yes, dreams do come true.
Thank you
