A competent docudrama about the life of Alan Turing, Codebreaker is your average TV biography. It's reverential, well-researched and interesting enough, even decisive in its criticism of chemical castration. But I don't mean to oversell it because it's the kind of stuff you watch on History Channel to fill an hour.
