There's really no logic in how all the material in this found footage movie would've been collected and edited, which keeps it from feeling credible in a genre that's intended to have heightened plausibility. Considering the film is also dependent on new media for its storytelling, it's absurd that this supposedly untold story took three years to leak. Issues of believability aside, this is preachy, overwritten and often boring environmental horror about an outbreak in a small town. Barry Levinson should never trek into this territory again.
