This irritating discussion on The Shining is mostly an opportunity to let idiots talk about a film they love rather than to offer any insight into it. There are some interesting tidbits here and there, but this is a punishing and seemingly endless trip down memory lane for several of Kubrick's dopiest, most inarticulate fans. The b-roll, if you could call it that, and relentless scoring is every bit as vapid as what's being said.
