
I guess I got spoiled by Swamp Shark earlier in the year, which actually had solid scares and moved briskly. Sand Sharks is far sloppier. Borrowing the Jaws plot heavily and perhaps taking a page from some Piranha 3D scenes, there's not much originality here besides the wacky premise. There are moments of levity here, like the constant set-ups where characters get eaten. With a body count this high, it's hard to be too bothered by this mess.
