Ice Age 4: Continental Drift

Wednesday, August 1, 2012

As some of you must be aware I have started making vLogs (Video Blogs) with my daughter for the films that she watches. As is the case with Ice Age 4, there are a number of films that I might not watch, but she does. So I figured that it might be best to get the viewpoint of the target audience for these films.

Fourth in the successful series, Ice Age 4: Continental Drift follows the adventures of Manny, Diego, Sid, and Squint as they work their way through changes in their lives and the environment.

Here is what Saanvi thought of the film which she viewed in 3D. (At the time of the "interview" she was suffering from a cold, so do keep that in mind :-)

Top Cat: The Movie (Trailer & UK Release)

Thursday, May 17, 2012

Top Cat!
The most effectual Top Cat!
Whose intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.
Providing it's with dignity.
Top Cat!
The indisputable leader of the gang.
He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship.
He's the most tip top, Top Cat!
Yes he's a chief, he's a king,
But above everything,
He's the most tip top,
Top Cat!

There you have it folks, TC is back in style and ready to hit a cinema near you (if you happen to be living in the UK) on June 1, 2012  (and rest of the world soon enough).

Having grown up watching the cartoons the unique point about Top Cat has always been that it appeals to both children and adults with its loveable characters and cheeky humor. I am especially glad that the film, which looks to be honest to the original cartoons, will not only bring about a nostalgic value to an audience that grew up with it, but will also present itself as something refreshing to a whole new generation of children.

So it’s  time to go to a nearby cinema, get your popcorn and drinks, and expect a bellyful of laughs with Choo Choo, Spool, Brains, Maharaja of Pookaji, Benny the Ball, Fancy Fancy, and of course Officer Dribble and the leader of the “gang” Top Cat “whose intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.”.
