Certainly strange and deadly dull, this TV movie is all red herrings and no payoff. Any initial playfulness or spookiness gives way to a plot that meanders ceaselessly. There is intrigue here when it seems the house is haunted, at least. As always, Robert Stack is at a macho and formidable screen presence.
